In Rom. 8: 29 30 we read: “For whom he (God) did foreknow he also predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son (Christ) that he (the predestinate person) might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate them he also called: and whom he called them he also justified: and whom he justified them he also glorified”. Just as Christ was “firstfruits” God is “calling” out a predestine number of persons as firstfruits “that he (the predestinated person) might be the firstborn (first born-again) among many brethren”. There will be a second harvest of fruits at which time most of mankind will be featured. God has given to us seven feast days to be observed. These feast days are designed to help us understand God’s plan of salvation. Read about the feast of “firstfruits” in the book of Leviticus 23 and you will notice that there is the first and smaller harvest followed by a larger harvest.

Jesus said: “No man can come to me except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6: 44). You must be called by the Father through Christ as he (Christ) is the only way to the Father. Over and over the Bible refers to the saints as being: “called”. Here are a few examples: Galatians 1: 6: “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him (God) that called you into the grace of Christ …”. In 1 Cor. 1: 2 we read: “Unto the church of God which is at Corinth to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus called to be saints ...”.

The Bible is God’s coded book and cannot be understood by most. In Isaiah 28: 9 – 11 we read: “Whom shall he [God] teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk and drawn from the breast. For precept must be upon precept precept upon precept; line upon line line upon line; here a little and there a little: for with a stammering lip (words difficult to understand) and another tongue (strange or foreign language) will he [God] speak to this people”. This is God Himself sending Isaiah to deliver a message and yet the message was not to be understood. Just like a puzzle the Bible is scattered “here a little and there a little”. One must find the pieces and put them together thus making it clear to understand.

In the book of Isaiah chapter six and beginning in verse eight we read: “Also I (Isaiah) heard the voice of the Lord saying whom shall I [God] send and who will go for us? Then said I (Isaiah) here am I; send me. And he (God) said go and tell this people hear ye indeed but understand not; and see ye indeed but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat and make their ears heavy and shut their eyes; lest (peradventure); they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and convert and be healed (spiritual healing or salvation)” (Isai. 6: 8 – 10).
