obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels (spirit bodies): and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection”. Yes, Christ assures the truly converted Christians that in the resurrection they will be changed from physical to spirit bodies, which cannot die and that they will also be born again into the family of God by a resurrection from the dead.

In Rom. 1: 4 we read that Christ was: declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness (Holy Spirit), by the resurrection from the dead.  Christ who is the “first fruit” (1Cor. 15: 23), the first begotten Son of God (Heb. 1: 6), was born again into the God family as a fully born Son of God by a resurrection from the dead. 1 Pet. 1: 3 tells us: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. We who have the Spirit of God dwelling in us, though we were first begotten in our mother’s womb by our human fathers, are now begotten again by God Himself through the Holy Spirit that is in us (Rom.8: 9, 11, 15 -17. James 1: 18). The truly converted Christian who has the Holy Spirit of God dwelling in him/her is now a begotten child of God, not yet born again, just as a child in its mother’s womb is a begotten child -begotten by its physical father - but not yet born. Our “lively hope” is that, just like Christ became fully born into the family of God by a resurrection from the dead, so too, we will be born again into the Kingdom/family of God by a resurrection from the dead. This is the mystery of the Kingdom of God which Christ told His disciples : “Unto you (the disciples) it is given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God, but unto them which are without (outside, not called), all these things are done in parables: that seeing they may see and not perceive; and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest at any time they should converted, and their sins should be forgiven them” (Mark 4: 11). This is the mystery of the Kingdom of God which is not now revealed to the world in general. It is the mystery of why you were born, the great human potential that is not known.

There is a first, second and third resurrection. The first resurrection is that of the saints/children of God. There is also a second death (Rev. 20: 6). The second death in hell fire is reserved for the unrepentant sinner. The second death is eternal and there shall be no resurrection from the second death (Rev 20: 14 -15).
