There is a Sin Unto Death

Satan will be bound up throughout the thousand years. The earth will then be full of the knowledge of God (Isai. 11: 7-9). After the thousand years are fulfilled Satan will be “loosed out of his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth” (Rev 20: 7 – 8). These people must now be tested to qualify for God’s Kingdom. Unfortunately the unrepentant sinner those whose character had been sealed as evil - the “accursed” - will once again be deceived by him.
Now back to the task at hand! In 1 John 5: 16 and 17 we read that: “There is a sin unto death”. We will now look at four different passages of scripture which deal with the issue:
In Mat. 12: 22 - 24 we read of Jesus performing another miraculous healing. Then in verse 24 (Mat 12: 24) we read: “But when the Pharisees heard it [heard of the miracle Christ had just performed] they said this fellow doth not cast out devils but (except) by Be-el-ze-bub the prince of the devils”. Then in verse twenty-five to verse twenty-eight (Mat. 12: 25 – 28) we read: “And Jesus knew their thoughts and said unto them Every Kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: and if Satan cast out Satan he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? And if I (Jesus) by Be-el-ze-bub cast out devils by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they (your children) shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God then the Kingdom of God is come unto you”. Then in verse thirty-one and thirty-two (Mt 12: 31 32) we read: “Wherefore I say unto you all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost (Spirit) shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost (Spirit) it shall not be forgiven him neither in this world neither in the world to come”. Here we have it. The sin that is “unto death” is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit or to speak evil of the Holy Spirit.
These Pharisees knew Jesus was casting out devils by the power of the Holy Spirit yet they attributed those mighty works to the devil. In John 3: 1 2 we read: “There was a man of the pharisees named Nicodemus a ruler of the Jews: the same (Nicodemus) came to Jesus by night and said unto him Rabbi we know that thou art a teacher come from God: …”. Nicodemus was a pharisee and he knew that Jesus was “come from God”. They (the pharisees) knew that Christ did miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit. They “willfully” out of envy blasphemed and spoke evil against the Holy Spirit. They are without excuse.
In the book of Heb. Chapter six (Heb. 6: 4 – 6) we read: “For it is impossible for those who was once enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost (Spirit) and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the world to come if they shall fall away to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh and put him to an open shame”. Notice that these persons “were made partakers of the Holy Spirit’ and were “once enlightened” as we read in verse 4. They willfully rejected the Holy Spirit and the knowledge by the Holy Spirit thus falling away.
